What about Singltrek pod Smrkem?

The most important cycling equipment are helmet and gloves. If you do not drive fast, no additional protectors are needed. Bring a drink, a small snack to quickly replenish your energy (such as a muesli bar), a spare soul or gluing kit, a pump and basic tools with you on the trail. We also recommend throwing a light windbreaker, a hat or scarf under the helmet and spare socks into the backpack, which can be very useful for you in the event of a sudden change in weather. Always have a recharged phone and documents with you. Before leaving, carefully check the condition of the trails and safety information.

Before setting out on a Singltrek, make sure you haven't forgotten anything. People often leave helmets, sneakers or axles of a sprung fork or other wheel components at home when disassembling the wheels when loading into a car. To make your stay around the Singltrek Center more pleasant, we also recommend a towel and soap, so you can take a shower after the ride. In nice summer weather, don't forget your swimsuit, right next to the Singltrek Center there is a beautiful and clean natural swimming pool, which would be a shame not to use in nice weather.

Children and Singltrek pod Smrkem

Children are welcome at Singltrek pod Smrkem! When we planned and designed the trails and the starting point, we also thought about the children and their parents. Singltrek pod Smrkem and Singltrek Centrum are family friendly. You don't have to leave your family or children at home when you ride your bike. You can go together without having to be significantly restricted by someone in the family.

If you have children older than 5 years, go on a company ride. Some can handle the whole blue circuit, some only the green one. Seven-year-old children are already riding on red trails and the most capable of them can handle even black sections. If you have small children, go for a ride alternately. Even if the children do not follow the trails, there is still something to do. At the Singltrek Center there is a playground, a large meadow, a forest, a natural swimming pool and refreshments.

We do not recommend riding the Singltrek pod Smrkem trails with wheelchairs, children in a seat and a towbar. Narrow paths are suitable for children only from the moment when they are able to ride a bike on their own. Not all bottlenecks or bends in the trails can be driven with the truck or drawbar. At the same time, narrow paths require relatively deft maneuvering, which can be dangerous for children in a car seat.

With small children, always be careful and foresight on the trails. Always go to the child. Be careful that the child does not get in the way of another rider. At the same time, be considerate of other people on the trails, do not brake others unnecessarily, let the faster riders in front of you. If children need to rest for a while, do not stand or sit on the trail and be sure not to leave bikes or other things on the trail.

Children must always wear a helmet when riding a Singltrek. During the ride, make sure that their helmet holds well on their heads, does not fall and does not unfold.
